Thank you for your interest in Harvest Church. Please let me share with you, briefly, who we are, where we have come from, and Lord willing, where we are going.
Harvest began in January 2002 as a Bible Study, meeting on Sunday evenings in the Willow Street Diner basement. God blessed our fellowship so much, that in April we began public worship services in a nearby church building. The Lord continued to build us, so that by January 2004 we elected our own church officers and became a member congregation of the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA).
Our congregation grew steadily, and soon purchased 5.4 acres of prime land on U.S. 222 in the Willow Street area. Ground-breaking for our new building was held in June 2010. On Sunday, August 28, we held our first worship service in our new location, 517 Beaver Valley Pike, just 10-15 minutes from Lampeter, Strasburg, and downtown Lancaster. Sunday Worship begins at 10:45 am; Sunday School for all ages at 9:30.
Our highest aim is "to glorify God, and to enjoy Him forever." We desire to be fruitful disciples of Jesus Christ, by growing in a deep knowledge of God, being renewed into His likeness, and extending His transforming kingdom into our community and world. We are firmly rooted in the historic Christian faith, with a contemporary sense of mission.
We invite you to get to know us by visiting the other pages of this website, and would enjoy having you visit Harvest to worship with us. May our Lord bless you richly.
Yours warmly in the service of Christ,
Pastor Bill Massey
