CONNECTING TO HARVEST LIFE

We warmly invite you to take advantage of some of these opportunities:

Worship: Worship is that time when we come into the presence of God to glorify and enjoy him. We want to build up the believer and challenge the seeker. Worship is held on Sunday mornings at 9:15 a.m. A nursery is provided during worship, which is staffed by caring and capable volunteers.

Sunday Schools :
Christianity concerns truth, which God has revealed to us in the Bible. It is a faith that is not picked up casually without effort but one that must be studied, taught, and applied. We provide biblically based instruction for all ages. Sunday School is held Sunday mornings at 11:00 a.m.

Covenant Groups :
Covenant Groups are small gatherings, which meet regularly for Bible study, supportive friendships, and prayer. These communities are at the heart of Harvest's ministry and a primary place where one may be cared for. Because they are foundational to the life of the church, we hope that most people will want to join a Covenant Group. You do not have to be a church member to do so.

Men's Ministry: Men cannot go it alone. They need supportive friendships with other men. This ministry helps men grow in a personal knowledge of God, live more like Jesus, and serve God and others.

Women in the Church : Women need other women too. The goal of the women's ministry ("Women In the Church") is to build community and to develop ministries of compassion. Working together women can use their gifts to help those inside and outside the church. Some women's activities include a bi-monthly Bible study, special events, and service projects.

Introduction to Harvest: This six-week class is taught quarterly during the Sunday School hour by Pastor Bill Massey. It is designed to introduce visitors, who are considering membership, to the ministry of Harvest Church.

Monthly Concerts of Prayer: Harvest Church thinks of prayer as rebellion against the status quo. Fellowship with God in prayer really does change things. God uses our prayers to accomplish his purposes and to make us different people. We meet together the first Saturday morning of every month for two-hour concerts of prayer. These are rich times of worship, fellowship, thanksgiving, and intercession for the growth of God's kingdom.
