Construction of Our New Church Building
We are grateful to the Lord for the progress of construction of our new church building! However, because of concerns for our safety and insurance requirements, the construction site must be considered "off limits" to everyone except designated workers. This applies to all working and non-working hours. Tours for interested individuals are being planned for the near future!
Visit With A Harvest Person Night
On Sunday evening, August 29, you are encouraged to invite a member or friend of Harvest Church who you do not know well to your home for dessert as a way of getting to know them better. Covenant Group Leaders are encourged to invite someone who is not presently involved in any covenant group. Those in retirement communities might also invite others who are not in their particular community. Regardless, invite families, couples, individuals - as many as you wish.
Concert of Prayer
The monthly Concert of Prayer will not meet next Saturday because of the holiday weekend. Instead, it will meet the following Saturday, September 11th.
Annual Harvest Picnic
The annual Harvest Picnic will be held Sunday, September 19, at 1:30 p.m. at Buchmiller County Park, Pavilion #31. Bring either a side dish, salad, or a dessert. A table cloth if you have one.
Women's Bible Study
The Women's Bible Study begins meeting Wednesday, September 22, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Childcare will be provided. Contact Valerie Massey to order Bible Study materials (464-1547).
Covenant Fellowship Groups
Covenant Fellowship Groups begin meeting in homes, Sunday, September 26.
Ladies, Save Saturday, October 2
Ladies, save Saturday, October 2, from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. for a time of fun, friendship, and refreshment from the Word. More details to come!
Fall Harvest Getaway
